After Paris St. Germain it’s time for another important European football club to revisit it’s brand identity. This time, A.S. Roma.
The first image is the new crest, followed by the previous one and - last - a crest used from 1979 to 1997.

Don’t just talk about sport, talk about the emotion involved in sport.
Heineken does it again for the UEFA Champions League.
After Rio’s host city poster for the Brasil 2014 FIFA World Cup had leaked last week, this week, the full series was officially released.
Favourites? Mine are Rio, Salvador, Brasilia and São Paulo. Rio first because I’m biased, the others in no specific order.

The FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil will present a series of posters for each host city. This one is - supposedly - Rio’s.
Personally I like it. Classic sugar loaf image coming from a freestyle football move.
I’ll post others here as they are announced.
“Boca - Every Game is a Home Game.”
How many Richter scale points can your supporters reach?

BBC released the “Price of British Football 2012” survey. Arsenal come out as the priciest. Is that bad?

Who do football supporters love the most? Their club or their wives?

Fifa approves the use of technology in football to verify goals. Hawk-eye and GoalRef, see how they work.
Hawk-eye is exactly what is currently used in tennis (high-speed cameras from several angles to confirm exactly where the ball was). GoalRef is the chip technology that alerts the ref when the ball goes over the line to score a goal.
IMHO, they should have followed the rugby route and just use the instant replay analysis. It would allow for intervention not only for “was the ball in or not” situations but also for clear offside, handballs or other clamorous mistakes that are still a disgrace to the sport.
